2008 VISUAL AMALGAM SHOW
Sunday evening we took Purple Reigns to an opening reception at the Bergamot Station Art Galley Complex in Santa Monica. This was for the 2008 Visual Amalgam Show, an exhibition of artists who also work in the film industry. I locked Purple Reigns at the entrance and pointed the camera up so it could snap away all evening as people entered the James Gray Gallery.

In the background (lower right) of this photo is the largest panorama of Yosemite Valley ever shot. 18 Teams of photographers shot Giga-Pixel Panoramas simultaneously from unique vantage positions then combined them into one giant photo.:
